Ice is water frozen into a solid state. Depending on the presence of impurities such as particles of soil or bubbles of air, it can appear transparent or a more or less opaque bluish-white color.
In the Solar System, ice is abundant and occurs naturally from as close to the Sun as Mercury to as far as the Oort cloud. Beyond the Solar System, it occurs as interstellar ice. It is abundant on Earth's surface – particularly in the polar regions and above the snow line – and, as a common form of precipitation and deposition, plays a key role in Earth's water cycle and climate. It falls as snowflakes and hail or occurs as frost, icicles or ice spikes.
Ice molecules can exhibit up to sixteen different phases (packing geometries) that depend on temperature and pressure. When water is cooled rapidly (quenching), up to three different types of amorphous ice can form depending on the history of its pressure and temperature. When cooled slowly correlated proton tunneling occurs below 20 K giving rise to macroscopic quantum phenomena. Virtually all the ice on Earth's surface and in its atmosphere is of a hexagonal crystalline structure denoted as ice Ih (spoken as "ice one h") with minute traces of cubic ice denoted as ice Ic. The most common phase transition to ice Ih occurs when liquid water is cooled below 0°C (273.15K, 32°F) at standard atmospheric pressure. It may also be deposited directly by water vapor, as happens in the formation of frost. The transition from ice to water is melting and from ice directly to water vapor is sublimation.
"Water" is the final single from Martika's self-titled debut, Martika. "Water" was never released as a single in the US, but peaked at number 59 on the UK Singles Chart in March 1990, and number 98 on the Australian ARIA singles chart in April 1990. The version released on the single was a remix of the album version, simply titled 7" remix.
Water is the 2006 Compilation CD from Australian three-piece band The Beautiful Girls.
PoweredUSB, also known as Retail USB, USB PlusPower, and USB +Power, is an addition to the Universal Serial Bus standard that allows for higher-power devices to obtain power through their USB host instead of requiring an independent power supply or external AC adapter. It is mostly used in point-of-sale equipment, such as receipt printers and barcode readers.
PoweredUSB, as a proprietary variant of USB, was developed and proposed by IBM, Berg (now FCI), NCR and Microsoft between 1998 and 1999, with the last revision (0.8g) issued in 2004. The specification is not endorsed by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF). IBM, who owns patents to PoweredUSB, charges a licensing fee for its use.
PoweredUSB was licensed by Hewlett-Packard, Cyberdata, Fujitsu, Wincor and others.
PoweredUSB uses a more complex connector than standard USB, maintaining the standard USB 1.x/2.0 interface for data communications and adding a second connector for power. Physically, it is essentially two connectors stacked such that the bottom connector accepts a standard USB plug and the top connector takes a power plug.
Power is the second studio album by the German techno artist Boys Noize. The album was released on October 1, 2009 in Japan, on October 2, 2009 in Europe, on October 5, 2009 in the UK and Belgium, on October 7, 2009 in the USA and Canada, on October 7, 2009 in France and on October 17, 2009 in Australia.
Power*** is a 2014 Kannada-language Indian action film, a remake of the 2011 Telugu film Dookudu. Directed by K. Madesh and produced by Ram Achata, Gopichand Achanta, and Anil Sunkara for 14 Reels Entertainment. It features Puneeth Rajkumar and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles.
Krishna Prasad (Prabhu) is a politician driven by idealistic values and a sense of social service. His followers are his brother Sathya (Dharma), and supporters (Shobharaj, Sharath Lohitashwa). The people of Krishnanna's constituency elect him as a M.L.A.. Krishna an ardent follower of Dr. Rajkumar, establishes his own independent political empire, consensus with ideals proposed by Rajkumar. Krishna Prasad's dream is to see his son as a politician revered by people. During this time, he meets with a fatal accident, in which his brother and his followers are also killed.
14 years later, Krishna Prasad's son Bharath (Puneeth Rajkumar) becomes a daring super-cop in Mumbai. He is on a mission to apprehend mafia don Nayak (Kelly Dorjee), who is involved in illegal drug trade, extortion and arms trafficking. It is later revealed that Krishna prasad actually survived the accident but ended up in a state of coma. However, this truth is hidden by Krishna Prasad's family from the people. Bharath maintains a low profile to catch Nayak. In an undercover operation in Spain, Bharath gets hold of Nayak's brother, Bunty. Later, it is revealed that corrupt opposition leader (Doddanna), who is also tied up with Nayak, was the mastermind behind Krishna Prasad's accident, and had planned to derail Krishna's political empire as he was opposing his illegal businesses and relation with Nayak.

This 4 nozzle micro hydro system is making 500 plus watts of power for an of grid cabin in the woods. First up is the intake. A stainless steel Coanda screen pulls over 200 gallons per minute to reduce the debris that enters the system. Next is a 4" penstock to carry the water from the source to the pma or permanent magnet alternator. This PMA has four nozzles that sweep around the unit on all sides. The water jets made by these nozzles push the spoons or cups on the pelton wheel. Wild 3 phase AC power is sent to the house. A rectifier converts the wild ac to direct current. This is used by the charge controller to store in the battery and finally be used in the house from an 8kw off grid inverter. This free and open source turbine can be built for half the cost of a 120 watt solar panel, and will produce about ten times the power (5kWh with 3m drop and 35 l/s flow) per day. It can be plugged into any appropriate waterway without the need for earthworks, and uses only basic off the shelf and recycled materials, and simple hand tools. Details on materials, tools, and step by step build instructions are available (free) at: https://opensourcelowtech.org/water_turbine.html ♫ Where The Waves Take Us by Purrple Cat - https://soundcloud.com/purrplecat #turbine #DIY #hydro #renewable #energy #opensource
Have you ever seen a dam in real life? Those huge structures are not only vital for our water needs in dry seasons but are also quite helpful in providing extra energy. By repurposing rivers and lakes, they reimagine vast ecosystems. They supply millions of homes around the globe with electricity, but how do these structures provide an alternative power source to humanity? The short answer is by generating electricity from water. Acquiring dam power is simple in principle. Using the water’s kinetic energy and converting it into electricity is not something new and people have been benefiting from it since the first civilizations. They do this by using gravity to their advantage. However, producing the amount of energy in today’s scale is not an easy task for sure. It is easier said than...

Beyond the pearls, who will protest?
Choke on the stars, shadows evoke
no resume no diamond lane.
All you win and all you pray
Who could make you feel afraid?
Be what you say, make you mistakes
Hey silver and gold, you feed cumble and
Forever be yours, counting the hours
The saulting the.and the world resouwers
The world resowers, the world resowers
The.
All you will and all you bring, you.
Who could make you feel afraid?
The world.
Will you give more you'll get more than you take ohh
Will you show us, what yopu
Show us what you fade.
Cry and move on
Cry and move on
Cry and move on
Cry and move on
